Wizbii is a professional social network for students and recent graduates seeking to enter the labour market, which was founded in 2011.
For students and businesses it is free to register on the site. After its foundation, the sapling had risen just over € 300,000 in September 2013, however, the company announced a new fundraising amount of € 800,000.
Up until now over 500 projects were created through Wizbii, since now the platform is also used to support entrepreneurship and young talents and their projects. 50,000 students are currently registered on the site.
Due to the new funding the company is also expected to hire new employees. From the beginning it had employed six people, by next year this number is expected to rise to twenty.
Wizbii is developing with high speed and could become one of the best mediators between students, young talents and the labour market. Furthermore, the company has been noticed by the government as a business that is sensitive to different initiatives that could serve as springboards to entrepreneurship
During his visit to Grenoble in January 2013, President François Hollande had a stopover in the local Wizbii office to meet the three young co -founders Benjamin Ducousso, Romain Gentil and Emeric Wasson .
A recent survey of the French daily "Le Monde" showed that social networks are the best recruiting tool for nearly half of recruiters. Wizbii with its social network for employment and entrepreneurship is fully in line with market expectations.
