This digital library currently offers over 6000 books and comics. You can access the whole catalog of books and comics for free.

Read thousands of free books on your iPad or on the web ? This is possible thanks to Youboox the "Deezer Book" offers its 100,000 users a streaming playback: as long as you are logged in, you can continue reading. And if you lose your connection, you can resume from the next hotspot.

If you are willing to pay 9.99 euros per month, you can read the entire catalog Youboox offline, reviews and critiques included. There are many different genres and subgenres of books, listed in this digital library.

Youboox is expected to explode in the near future. Founded in 2012 only, start-up has managed a fundraising of 530,000 euros and continues its efforts to achieve its original goal of one million.

Users should therefore multiply rapidly, especially as this concept has no reason to stop at the borders of France.

A few remarks however: First, the fact that the application is not available on smartphone is a problem. Everyone does not have a tablet, and it is much less easy to use in crowded public transport than a smartphone.

Another problem is the risk of treating reading like listening to music. As with Spotify or Deezer you can listen to snippets rather than the whole album.

The principle risk of is losing the thread of a book. In short, we read a chapter in the morning for fun when travelling and pass on to something else on the way home in the evening.

Yooboox is an application that is available free on App Store.
